Mr. Kerstner was quoted as saying “We are very pleased to publically offer free hosting to qualifying nonprofit organizations. In the past when we didn’t publically offer the service we would get 2-3 requests a month; we hope to now grow that number 100 fold in the next 2 quarters!”

The Kerstner Foundation is proud to announce completing over $75,000 in charitable website development in the second fiscal quarter of 2008. This milestone more than doubles our previous record of $28,500 set Q1 of 2008.

In partnership with Streamlined Fusion the Kerstner Foundation developed and financed eight web 2.0 sites at no charge to the nonprofits. These sites consisted of everything from Malaria prevention to September 11th memorial sites to viral condom advertisements for parts of Africa where AIDs is an epidemic.

The funds served many important global needs such as Malaria, Breast Cancer, starvation and Stem Cell research.

Additionally approximately 33% or $69,300 was donated to help serve local community needs such as Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran’s surgical operations and Cancer medication for children without sufficient health insurance.
